Todays Art Lesson - 'Sensory' Free Painting

Had a great art lesson today, free painting on silver foil with warm and cold paints. Had lots of fun with a student watching the paint drip down from a freezing cold paint bottle to land on their hand and paper. The independent mark making took a twist when the student took my hand by the wrist and instead of using their own as planned used my hand to bash down into the paint.

I added sound effects as my hand hit their work tray , as this particular student loves noise it encouraged them to move my hand faster which resulted in lots of smiles and laughter. A great engaging painting session so worth an achy shoulder and paint covered clothes. I think that they created a masterpiece too.
