A Simple Festive Cause and Effect App

Image
Simple Cause and Effect Christmas App 'Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Tree' Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Tree is a really simple cause and effect app for the iPad. The background is a Christmas Tree, by touching the screen you can add a range of festive decorations to it. When you touch the screen it also makes a pretty sound too! . You can change the background, add stars to the sky and also make it snow. Once your students have finished decorating their tree, take a screen shot and print their work out in colour. In our class we put the children's pictures on folded card and used them for Christmas Cards. They look really lovely and best of all they have been able to create their picture independently.  Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Tree is  FREE,  click on the links below to get the app for your iPad of tablet    Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Tree Google Play Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Tree iTunes

I was really lucky to be invited to a 'Positive Eye' training course last Friday ( I will be posting about this fabulous training shortly). Gwyneth McCormack is a qualified teacher for the Visually Impaired and set up her own company 'Positive Eye' 9 years ago. During the training Gwyneth told us about this product 'Spark Up' The Magical Book Reader.  'Spark Up' The Magical Book Reader, reads aloud any picture book using camera sensing technology to record and read aloud. You can record any book in your own voice. It stores up to 250 minutes of audio or approximately 50 recorded storybooks. I have just ordered two of these from Amazon for two students in my class who are unable to read but love books, I can't wait for them to arrive. Amazingly 'Spark Up' is only £11.99 !!!!.
