Christmas Sensory Activities

Lollipop Land

Lollipop Land is a Christmas poem which I found on the internet. I used the words of the poem to create a festive sensory experience for my students. You can download the the poem from the TES website by clicking on the link below. The download comes with a list of suggested sensory resources to help make the poem come alive for your students.

Simple Cause and Effect Christmas App
'Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Tree'

Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Tree is a really simple cause and effect app for the iPad. The background is a Christmas Tree, by touching the screen you can add a range of festive decorations to it. When you touch the screen it also makes a pretty sound too! . You can change the background, add stars to the sky and also make it snow.

Once your students have finished decorating their tree, take a screen shot and print their work out in colour. In our class we put the children's pictures on folded card and used them for Christmas Cards. They look really lovely and best of all they have been able to create their picture independently.

Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Tree is FREE, click on the links below to get the app for your iPad of tablet
